Dear Shonto Preparatory School Parents/Guardians,
I hope this letter finds you and your families in great spirits as we gear up for some exciting events at Shonto Preparatory School.
First and foremost, I want to extend my gratitude to all of you for your continued support and involvement in your child's education. Your partnership with us is invaluable, and it truly makes a difference in the success of our students.
As we bid farewell to our Spring Break, I want to take a moment to thank you for entrusting us with your children's education. We hope they have returned refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to tackle the remainder of the school year
This year, we've been fortunate to experience minimal disruptions due to inclement weather. In our academic calendar we had 3 days set aside for snow/emergency days. On January 8, 2024, we had no school due to inclement weather therefore we will have school on May 3, 2024.
On April 8, 2024 there will be a solar eclipse that will occur during the day therefore Shonto Preparatory Schools will have no school on that day. We will use the second snow day in place of April 8th so we will have school on May 10, 2024.
We understand that this adjustment may impact your plans, and we sincerely appreciate your flexibility and understanding. Rest assured that our primary goal is to prioritize the academic growth and well being of our students.
We will be having Parent/Teacher conferences on Wednesday, March 27th and Thursday, March 28th . The Shonto Preparatory K8 school is scheduled from 4 pm to 6 pm and the Shonto Technology High School is scheduled for 5 pm to 7 pm. We look forward to talking with you about your student’s academic achievements. On Friday, March 29th , will be an Early Release day.
