SPTHS Student Registration/Enrollment

Shonto Preparatory Technology High School accepts enrollment application packets for students fifteen (15) through eighteen (18) years of age. While students may apply for admission at any time of year, students are encouraged to submit their application packet on or before May 1st for the following school year. Initial admissions and if necessary, a lottery, shall be conducted at that time to determine enrollment for the following school year based on applications received by May 1st.

Applications will be accepted after the May 1st deadline before or during the school year for any remaining openings available.

Arizona Revised Statutes §15-184(B) provides that enrollment preference shall be granted to pupils returning to the charter school and to siblings of pupils already enrolled. A.R.S. §15-184(C) states that enrollment preference may be granted by the School to students who are in foster care, homeless, or those who are children, grandchildren or legal wards of employees of the school, Governing Board members, or employees, directors, officers, partners or Board members of the charter holder.

If capacity at the School is insufficient to enroll all those who submit an application on or before May 1st, the School shall select pupils through a lottery except that preference shall be given to siblings of pupils selected.

Student enrollment forms will be available for download starting July 2022.  If you do not have access to printing, please call the school to arrange for a pick-up or if you need to turn in enrollment documents.  We look forward to meeting our new families and welcoming back those who are returning.

Thank you for your patience as we navigate through this unique situation.
